By accessing or using PodcastBud ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including those who connect third-party social media accounts.

2. Description of Service

PodcastBud is an AI-powered platform that helps podcast creators generate show notes, social media content, transcripts, and other marketing assets from their episodes. The Service includes optional integrations with third-party platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn, Bluesky, and X (Twitter) to publish content on your behalf.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable laws and the terms of any connected third-party platform.

4. Third-Party Platform Integrations

When you connect a social media account (such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Bluesky, or X), you authorize PodcastBud to perform actions on that platform on your behalf — including posting content — only when you explicitly request it. You remain responsible for all content posted through PodcastBud and must comply with the terms of service of each connected platform.

You may disconnect any platform integration at any time from Settings. PodcastBud's access to third-party platforms is governed by those platforms' respective terms and developer policies, including:

• YouTube Terms of Service
• LinkedIn API Terms of Use
• X Developer Agreement and Policy

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post spam, misleading, or harmful content to any connected platform.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or connected platform.
• Use the Service in any way that violates a connected platform's terms of service or developer policies.

6. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all podcast content, transcripts, and other material you upload or create using the Service. By using PodcastBud, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose beyond delivering the Service to you.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before publishing.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PodcastBud shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any content posted to third-party platforms through our integrations.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or any connected platform's policies. You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date above or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
